HEILONGJIANG - Harbin city is Capital of Heilongjiang Province in the northern part of northeast China in the Songhuajiang River - Nenjiang River Plain. The city covers a total area of 56,579 square kilometers. It has a total population of 9.475 millions. The city average temperature stands at 4C. Other cities of the Province: Daqing City situated in the central of the Songhuajiang River - Liaohe River Plain. More than 500 foreign funded enterprises have been put into operation. Jiamusi City situated on the inland of the Sanjiang Plain in the northeastern part of the Province. It has proven mineral resources of more than 60 kinds, such coal, gold, iron ore, granite, graphite and pumice stone.
